Judah, Mosley, Chavez. Floyd can when he needs to. That versatility is key to his success.
Has anyone ever fought Floyd by forcing him to be the aggresor?

That's why I want to see him fight Lara at 154. See how how he deals with Lara's movement. Whitaker fought Hurtado and it bought out the dog in him and saw how he would react when he was desperate and down on the cards, needing a KO to win.Comment

He began to fully press Judah after a few rounds and it was nice to watch, he totally dominated and laded some beautiful shots.

Mayweather was the aggressor against Corley and MitchellLast edited by MrClutch85; 09-26-2014, 10:09 AM.Comment

Mitchell did, too.Judah, Ortiz tried and failed miserably for as little as that lasted. Cotto tried as well, didn't do so well. Tony Pep tried but Mayweather was too much of a beast at 130 so that didn't end so well for Pep either. Maidana did it too in both fights, just not for long stretches.Comment

The opponent needs great handspeed to do it as they'll always get beaten to the punch if they haven't got it. I'd actually like to see Floyd go hunt down a fast in-and-out fighter at this stage of his career. It would be an interesting watch.Comment

[QUOT REED™;14980298]Depends on who the fighter is.
I like McGirts advice to tarver when he fought Roy "Punch when he punch".[/QUOTE]
Only type of fighter who can get that off on a Roy/Floyd type is a long rangy guy with a good jab who can make them have to get inside.
Floyd can walk down most of this current crop of ww's after potshotting them from the outside for a couple of rounds, but where are the long rangy natural ww's like hearnsComment
