A boxer will never get respect from everyone. There always is a hater. I think boxers get more respect when thir time has past and they become legends but no current boxer gets everyone's respect.

awesome dedication to boxing. as the fighter become a champion he will fight champions and top contenders and no tune-up fights or whatsoever.. dedicated to sacrifice his time to train for battle. every battle is for the championship.never duck any fighters.

have multiple titles in diff. division (if not HW).

I had never really been high on Hatton and Calzaghe before their fights with Tszyu/Lacy respectively.

Both guys took the fight to their favored opponents and beat them handily...making sure their was no doubt as to who was the better man.

I was a big Pacquiao fan before the Morales bouts, but he gained even more respect from me after his performance in the 2nd fight.

                    Performances like those deserve respect.
