The former strength and conditioning trainer of Manny Pacquiao, Alex Ariza revealed that the Top Rank executive, Bob Arum has a hidden agenda to keep the most anticipated Mayweather vs. Pacquiao from happening. Ariza blamed Arum for the repeated failed negotiations of the two parties to make the mega-fight happen.
Ariza fearlessly criticised Arum and his hidden agenda to keep the Filipino boxer from fighting the undefeated American boxer, in an interview with Fight Hype.
"The fight is not happening because of Bob Arum," Ariza claimed. "Don't get me wrong: Manny truly wants to fight Floyd, and I know Floyd wants to fight Manny, but they know that's never gonna happen," he said.
The strength and conditioning coach hinted that Arum kept the idea of the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight from the Filipino fighter, every time the 35-year-old boxer asks about the bout. He also claimed that it has always been the agenda of Arum to make sure that Manny does not fight Floyd.
Ariza went on to say that when Manny starts to ask questions about his taxes or why he is not making as much money as the American boxer, Arum will answer and falsely reassure him that he will get him the Floyd fight. He believes that as long as Arum is involved, the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao will not happen.
Moreover, from what Ariza is saying, Mayweather will not fight Pacquiao for the remainder of his career as it is also unlikely for him to wait for Pacquiao's contract with Top Rank to expire.

ALEX ARIZA: "ARUM IS A GREEDY PIG...BOB IS THE ONE INTERFERING"
BT: You and Freddie have been pretty vocal about wanting Manny to fight Floyd next. Do you think...
AA: (Cutting in) Freddie has been very vocal about Manny wanting to fight Floyd because Freddie is about wanting the best for his fighter. Let me ask you something Ben. I'm not a promoter or anything like that, but let me ask you. If Manny wants to fight Floyd and if he fights Floyd, and hypothetically he loses to Floyd, the Marquez fight is still there. If Manny fights Marquez and he loses to Marquez, the Floyd fight is gone. So how can you tell me as a promoter that the best thing to do is to fight ****ing Marquez again? I mean, Freddie's obviously been in the fight game all his life, he knows how it is, and he knows that the best thing for Manny is to fight Floyd, so what the **** is the problem? Let me ask you something, why is it that Bob can do a co-promotion with everybody else out there? He can do a co-promotion with anyone, DiBella, this guy, that guy, but he won't do a co-promotion when it comes to Manny Pacquiao fighting somebody. Whoever Manny fights, he has to fight in-house. Why is that do you think? I wonder why. I wonder when somebody is going to start scratching their head and going, "Why is it that Bob doesn't want to share a co-promotion when it comes to Manny? Sure is a lot of money."

pacquiao knows all about it. freddie knows all about it. thats why they sent koncz to mayweathers gym to say that arum is out of the negotiation(look at my avatar). unfortunately floyd is not thinking about boxing at that time. what IF floyd showed some interest. floyd+pac>arum.
