Like I said in another thread, they put all of their eggs in the Mayweather basket, and what's happening now are the consequences of the move they made.

Mayweather fights on PPV only so it doesn't benefit SHO much... They need to cut some things in order to cope with the Mayweather dent in their pockets.

Can't wait for HBO to take over once again! They need to go back to the 2009 style graphics, the new ones are okay but the old ones were classic. And damn, it's back to the good old days!

So its back on Saturdays? Ive been watching ShoBox since they started and they used be on Saturday afternoons, 3 or 4ish, if I remember right, which was cool with me because then if you had a HBO card, that was a full evening of boxing.

With Espinoza saying its "moved" to Saturday similar to Boxing After Dark on HBO, I wonder if he is just using that as a smoke screen, when in reality he is killing it and rebranding some of the saturday night telecasts "ShoBox"

I dont see what the big deal is. Having Shobox on Saturday instead just makes it like boxing after dark.

I don't see an end of the world here. We will probably see less of them though because lots of them took place on the eve of Major Fights on the network. Now they will conflict.

HBO has been working that way forever though

Floyd and his shady boss al the ****** Gaymon have stripped the sport of most of its credibility and now with floyd's ridiculous deal have ****** all of the money and credibility out of showtime. They are parasites, but you sit there in your fruity little TMT onesie and tell anyone you can(or anyone ******, mainly other floydiots to br fair) that these two disgusting bastards are good for the sport.

Schaefer's foot prints are all over the place in this disaster. He was the one who duped Espinoza into thinking PPVs are the answer to SHO's budgetary needs. Schaefer always believed HBO was cheating him with the numbers. You recall that this is the same guy who has a habit of of projecting numbers as high as 2.5 to 3 M for every Floyd fight. Fast forward, he and Espinoza found out the numbers are really not that huge. HBO itself was probably exaggerating the numbers.
