I don't agree the first is a shared postion between Mr. "he has to fighton Showtime PPV under FMP promotion" and Mr "I'm afraid of needles but anyway I want Marquez to do strict drug testing". They are the biggest ducks of the last few years in boxing because they ducked each other. If Stevesnon is the second than so is Frampton, why is that better what Frampton does now?
Khan is definitely in the top 10, he wasn't afraid of the Devon fight normally but after he heard that maybe he can get the May fight he turned down the December (!!!) devon fight because he was afraid that maybe if he will be defeated by Devon, the big money goes away.
Quillin is definitely there and also LSC but for the record that's maybe not just their fault, Haymon has huge influence and power...
But
Mikey Garcia isn't a ducker he has promotional issues I won't call him a duck just because he didn't fight with Gamboa. I think that was more because his promotional problems.
The same goes to JCC Jr. I think the author of this list just joked when he wrotehis name. He wanted the GGG fight but didn't want an extension in exchange. I can understand.
Danny Garcia isn't ducker, he has fought with Matthysse and howeverit was a close and dirty fight, he won it, he is a cherry picker newly but not a duck.
James Kirkland also has promotional issues or at least it seems like. I don't think that he is dead scared of Rosado and he ducked him. It was just simply a fucked up situation IMO.
I'd put Martin Murray on the list, he was the mandatory challanger for GGG but he said more times that he won't fight him.
I'd also put Fury on the list with his last minute blatant duck before the Ustinoc fight, I guess he doesn't like when he has to fight with men with size like his.
So IMO not in order:
Adonis, Frampton, May, Pac, Murray, Quillin, LSC (maybe just protected by Haymon), Khan, Fury, Wilder (he didn't duck exact opponents, he duck to step up in competition).
But as I said, many times (I think here mainly to Haymon fighters) this mainly athe promoter's/manager's fault.Comment
