Although Canelo hasn't given much reason for me to doubt him so far.
Yea not only did he fight the consensus best fighter in the world, he also fought and beat two guys that were supposed to out slick him and he insisted on those fights. His word is pretty much stone tablet type stuff.

I love the heart of this kid Canelo. He might end up having a better resume than Floyd and Pacquiao if he continues fighting a solid oppositions.

I hate to be cynical but who wouldn't fight Floyd Mayweather? And as for the Lara fight, there wasn't really anyone else out there that could justify the PPV after Cotto decided to fight Martinez.

Don't get me wrong, they were both the best match-ups to take but lets not pretend he took them out of the goodness of his heart.

See my above post, f@ggot. I use this as a rule for all boxers including the ones I like. I'll believe it when I see it.

Go tell one of your cousins to get ready for a fight against Santa Cruz.

Horrible use of that term. God I must've absolutely wrecked you in that thread a few weeks ago cos you've been DESPERATELY trying to claim back the smallest of victories on me ever since

No not out of goodness of heart, but out of pure balls and mexican pride something that is more important now a days with so many ducking the toughest tests in their own division...and Canelo has shown he has plenty of that even against the advise of his own promoter

Lara could not sell out a family BBQ, cmon man, be fair. Lara made 1 million dollars when you know damn well he did not generate a million. Canelo could have easily fought someone else and made more money.

Justify a PPV? He fought Angulo on PPV!
