Why do people keep harping about Algieris 8 kos**BANISHMENT**

I thought the prevailing attitude was "this is boxing not knockouts". I've seen many even say "boxing is about hitting without getting hit". Chris has done that we'll enough for 20 straight wins and no losses. So why is his ko% a big deal? He's young, prime and undefeated and can stick and move. Isn't that the exact type of fighter people want Manny to face?

Algieri doesn't have a good enough lead/ counter right hand which is important against Pacquiao, that would have compensated for his lack of punching power as Pacquiao tends to reach when facing movers. I like the fight, although it shouldn't be on PPV.

Because... if you don't have respectable power, your opponent will not respect you. It's as simple as that.

Algieri is getting outworked and getting battered because he will give Pacquiao the confidence to get closer and work.

Power signifies much more than just KO intentions.

There's nothing exciting about Chris. Leys say by some miracle he beats Pac in some plain fashion that he beat Peovodnikov? So what?

This is professional boxing, and in this case in particular PRIZE FIGHTiNG it's about not only winning - but putting on a show.

You will only GET what you PUT IN. Just ask Rigondeaux.

Glad to see you admitting Manny is fighting another hyped up dud .

For the TS ,, The 8 kos against mediocre opponents means the guy cant punch for sht , thats means there is no keeping Manny off , thats means his boxing wont help him .

This is a fight to give Manny a KO something he has lacked for years , they want easy no risk opponents while pushing hard for a Floyd fight , I hope Manny gets the Floyd fight but its easy to see what Manny is up too .
