The rematch shouldn't have happened to begin with. The only way Maidana has a chance is if Floyd stands still and trades punches with him in a rock em sock em robots style fight. And when Floyd did that he STILL only won 4 rounds MAX.

If a fighter needs to handicap himself to make a fight competitive then there is no need for it to happen, let alone twice. This ain't affirmative action.

And even then, Canelo's performance against Floyd was the complete joke. With his Ol' 25 pound weight advantage trying to out slick em ass.

I agree that Floyd stood and fought more in the first and that Maidana only won 4 rounds. You gotta be fair though bro, and maybe you are being fair and honestly enjoyed Floyd's performance in the rematch but I think it was horrible. He ran and held all night. Won easier and if that was the goal, he accomplished it. The fight was garbage though.

It was a **** fight but I'm not upset. After the first fight everybody was talking about how Floyd "lost his legs" and were trying to make Maidana out to be an elite fighter who was going to do the unthinkable.

I'm happy Floyd boxed circles around him and put him in his place.
