    People act like it because it's the truth. Do you think Quillin didn't want to fight Korobov for 1.4 mil? Do you think LSC doesn't want to fight Frampton or Quigg? Why do you think those fights are not happening?

    As for Haymon's power being overrated... According to an article Showtime deemed Clottey an unacceptable opponent for Canelo, but they had no problem airing a card full of Haymon fighters in way worse mismatches. That tells you all you need to know about how influential he is.

        I don't think Williams understands that Taylor is on his way out. So his not looking to take risky fights. He just wants some of that Haymon cash. Look at Molina, couldn't handle the veteran Soto. El Pero, can't pull the trigger no more. Mora, I don't think his going to be a threat to any top competition. It's not just that he protects his fighters but honestly I don't think he understands match making for competitive bouts. He just wants to sell crap events but what will happen when the Networks get tired of this. He will be forced to face real threat competition. The money is all good for the fighters but too much of anything can also be bad.
