The WBC should ORDER the two to fight or force Mayweather to relinquish his belt. Then, we will see how much influence the WBC really has. It would prove prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the WBC is the equivalent of a stray dog begging Mayweather for a bone.

Mayweather will likely fight a rematch with Cotto in May 2015. Maybe Alvarez will fight Pacquaio in a dueling PPV. Then we will see how much and how little fan support each fighter has.

Oh really? Thats funny Pac Bradley2 did 800k. Who else is bring that much to the table?

Oh I know, I live in jersey myself, but he's never fought there and he's always said he wants to fight there before he retires. In addition, TMT got their promotion license in NY so that could be the first major card under the TMT banner which would be worth the tax difference

Pacquiao ranked no.1 after beating Bum Bum Rios, yeah they're pretty desperate. Manny needs to be focused on Algieri right now, too much talk about next year, take care of business first.

hmmm, a little premature for the WBC to be making such statements before the algieri fight, i bet he and his camp feel disrespected by this.
i hope he gives pacman a real problem.

750 -800k, thats true, but the fight before vs rios did 475k, avg that out its 650k. Not to mention, pac - Bradley had the lowest gate revenue of any pac fight in the past 7 years. Floyd avg more than 900k plus unbelievable gate. So again, would you give pac 45% of all revenue?
