This happened this year. The fight is never happening as much as we all want as long as Arum is in the picture.
the simple point remains that floyd won't work with arum therefore its floyd's fault. stop trying to pass the blame. the blame solely rests on floyd. if floyd won't work with arum because his feelings are hurt that's a lame excuse and you know it.

Once pac loses, cuz he will lose, 45% is still to high for him. Floyd avg more than 900k ppv buys while pac is struggling to get 600k. Doesn't seem fair to me for pac to request 45% when he brings in a Lil more than half the revenue Floyd does

Floyd has Haymon who has made him millions and the highest paid athlete in the world. He will be the A side if the fight is negotiated like Oscar was when he fought Floyd. From what I remember in the first negotiations everything was agreed upon but the drug testing (split, ring size, gloves, etc.). If Manny was with another promoter you don't think that would make a difference?

Why would Floyd call him personally if he did not want the fight (he was trying get a deal in place without Arum)?

True, but if you're cotto, would you fight Canelo or rematch Floyd if offered? I think Floyd-cotto 2 in May at MSG is a realistic option

Your missing the point. Think about it.

If you know there is already bad blood on both sides why would you add fuel to the fire?
Manny should be his own man for once in his career and this time he should make the call to Floyd. They already have 1 person in common (Alex Ariza), so they could talk it out without any promoters and see where it goes form there.

In business...sometimes you gotta do things you dont wanna do to get the job done. Personal feelings means SHlt when it comes down to business. Especially with the magnitude of this fight and the money to be made.
Just because Arum WONT ALLOW Floyd to get what FLOYD WANTS...its Arums Fault? lol Thats ***ing ******ed.

No he would definately be the A side in negotiations with canelo while he would be the B side in a fight with floyd... more money and more demands can come from a canelo fight which is why i think he goes the canelo route..imagine how roukous the crowd would be in msg compared to mgm?, not to mention the live gate?
