Both guys have a preferred style to fight... Manny never had an O to product so he could be alittle more risky in matchmaking
Floyd has been one of the fastest boxers in the sport since the 90s. It's not easy to find someone to match his speed. The closest were Mosley and Judah.

You would have to go back to Prime or young Roy Jones to find someone who can match Floyd's prime speed.

Hopefully the Pac fight will be materialized soon. Somehow that fight still has big interest.

You could be right, haven't seen it in awhile. my only point is that Shane isn't known for his right hand... It's not his best punch.. He doesn't counter or lead with it like a toney, Hopkins, Floyd, Marquez, etc
marquez' best punch used to be his left, people used to say, but i guess it's only right his righthand is now considered better, having sparked manny with a right an all

having a resume that's alot better equals "proven"(to an extent, lets not get too deep into it) to be better

everything else is just your opinion

thurman could get sparked in his next fight by a punch similar to how karass caught him, then people will be all "yea, same punch he was caught with vs karass, he's got an opening"

and openings usually stick with fighters their entire careers

no would had even seen matthysse hurt nor had he ever been down before garcia(if im wrong someone correct me plz)

At the end of the fight he said it was the straight right hand he struggled with, especially to the body. Pacquiao struggles with that punch but luckily for him the only fighter who he hasn't faced that has that punch is Mayweather. You need a straight right to time Pacquiao when he's coming in.

Honestly all of Marquez's punches are top level,, that's what makes him world class.. He isn't the fastest, not the best defender, not quick footed, never really has a size advantage, but the dude can punch like a killer with any shot

Lets see how great Thurman looks against the likes of Kell Brook or Swifty Garcia. Hell, at this point I'd like to see Thurman vs. Broner.

well the right hand did the damage, the jab broke everything up, it was like hitting a wall, and then get kicked in the nuts afterwards

but yea, pacquiao seems pretty open to anything down the middle when he's coming to you

If you look at Matthysse's best win, it's Peterson. Thurman's is Chaves. Hardly a big difference. Matthysse has fought better opposition, I don't see how that proves him to be a better fighter? He's been on the scene for longer and therefore had more opportunities.
