Ye but he should fight at least one different style of opponent. Cotto, gurrero, canelo, ortiz all of them had the same style. Come forward and **** hard.

bradley had a pretty good right hand/power in the rematch, his best shots were straights

this is like me saying when will floyd start fighting real southpaws again, last one was judah, who's sht and he couldn't miss mayweather

      talk about same styles

and ts, judah doesn't really have any footwork to talk of, you can get inside on him when you want(although could chances you eat some uppercuts and such till you fold him)
Their is a huge difference between Floyd, Marquez, Hopkins caliber right hand and guys like Bradley and Shane... Shane cracked him out of a clinch and wasn't a traditional lead/counter

Both Floyd and manny have a preferred style to fight... Both have a style they like to avoid..

So I don't know why TS has this thread, just to bash Floyd when manny does the exact same thing..

And Floyd did not get dropped by Zab. Officially or unofficially. If you look at it in slow motion you'll see that their feet got tangled. The only fighters to wobble or hurt Floyd were DeMarcus Corley, Shane Mosley and Maidana.
I would like to see Floyd vs Khan and Lara, as would many others. It'd be a good change from watching him fight face-first robots.

Thurman is nothing like Matthysse, nobody is hyping him up and he's a far more complete and talented fighter than Matthysse. He's a very good boxer and can fight on the backfoot, he's not all power.

He did get dropped, his hand touched the canvas after eating a right hook, this is not an opinion.

shane jabbed his body and strafed him upstairs, what clinch is this?

and oh, you're talking specifically about counters/leads?

            I agree...

I'm not trying to defend Floyd,,, all I'm saying is that manny does the same thing... A lot of fighters avoid some style matchups

To just highlight Floyd is unfair

he's nothing like matthyse, yes, but to make it out as if he's better than matthysse

yet to be seen, matthysse is very good, and as it stands he's proven to be much better than thurman

Could have sworn it was kinda a break in the action, I thought what you said happened and caused Floyd to clinch up and then mosely cracked him with a right and buckled him. You could be right, haven't seen it in awhile. my only point is that Shane isn't known for his right hand... It's not his best punch.. He doesn't counter or lead with it like a toney, Hopkins, Floyd, Marquez, etc

He hasn't proven to be much better than Thurman. Ridiculous comment. He has simply been given opportunities against better opposition.

Only reason Im saying floyd should face someone different is because he is p4p#1 fighter and as a fan of boxing. he should be held to higher standards.
