granting pac survive algiere, i don't how the fans of chickenfloyd react on this...if you are truly a boxing fan, you should push for this fight...unless they too are scared their idol will get manhandled by a fighter they called a midget and "one-dimensional".

for me its a complete sh*** supporting the alibis of chickenfloyd...

Wrong Bobbo!!!! You forgot that you either have to die or Pacquiao has to leave Top Rank, has to sign with TMT and give Floyd some fights????

All Pacquiao has to do is leave Arum, sign with TMT, have a couple fights under them, agree to $40 million flat, and teach Floyd how to read. That all seems fair. Right?

How long had Pacquiao carried a strap at 147 along with Floyd? If they are the consensus #1***2 fighters at that division shouldn't they fight?? It's not about earning paychecks it's to find out who is number one...

I've been wrong before but I just don't see it happening. Algieri has never faced a dynamic offensive powerhouse veteran prizefighter like Pacquiao. What could have possibly prepared him for this fight?
I don't think Algieri is capable of knocking Pac out but he could make it a difficult night. Algieri has the superior reach, knows how to box and has shown the ability to think on his feet. Unless Pac overwhelms him with his speed early (before round 5 or 6), I can Algieri getting into rhythm and taking the fight the distance.

Plenty of fighters have lost to inferior opponents, the fact that Pac always seems to be looking toward a Mayweather fight and not the task at hand may be just the distraction Algieri needs...

Algieri seems to be a smart dude, I'm sure he's studying footage of Pac looking for ways to utilize his strengths.
