Kovalev does a lot of damage with short punches. Golovkin gets a lot more leverage into his shots. It's hard to say, they're different types of punchers.

haha you're tripping. Even if he was hyped you can see that he has punching power. He hardly even looks like he's throwing anything into his punch.

Hard to say. Gennady is much more technically sound IMO than Kovalev but like another poster said, Kovalevs punches hurt you and they aren't the most well placed.

GGG is the better technician, and he's more accurate. He works bottom /top and that's how you set people up. Methods & Techniques are in order and he has better balance too.

I haven't seen Kovalev fighting past the 7th round yet. With that in mind, he is slightly the more puncher between the two.

I assumed you are talking about who hits harder pound for pound so I voted for GGG. If you just were asking who hits harder regardless of weight class then Kovalev hits harder because he is a great puncher who is naturally at least 15 pounds heavier than GGG.

I'd say GGG, there was a story floating around here about Kovalev showing him too much respect when they sparred each other. It's rumored GGG even hurt Kovalev a few times, not sure if that's acutally true but GGG's trainer did comment on video that Kovalev wasn't who they thought he was....

kovalev is the heavier handed puncher of the two. ive seen him hurt opponents with arm punches whereas gg gets his power from great technique and timing
