If you did you would know that this was clearly the best fight on BeIn this year.
I'd be shocked if this didn't win Fight Of The Year.
WAR SALIDO!!!
I wrote the article you're commenting on.and I think Takayama-Rodriguez is still the best fight this year.

Salido is special
Siri is true marvel of the game. Ice in his veins, programmed to fight, overcomes adversity, good at everything just an all around baddass. His career has been truly amazing considering where he came from. Anyone that has the audacity to try and beat him usually pays a horrible price .i.e. Juan Ma et al.

Salido, what a fighter. One of my favourites of this era and definitely today.
Great pressure fighter, skills, power, inside fighting, chin (in his prime), heart.
Had some AMAZING fights. Literally amazing.
Well passed it now, chin hanging on by a thread but great to see he's still putting on great fights.

He wasn't being bias or prejudice in favor of Gonzalez. In fact, he never even mentioned Gonzalez. I think you got confused with the names.
He meant Francisco "Chihuas" Rodriguez Jr vs Katsunary Takayama for the IBF and WBO Minimum Weight straps being fight of the year in his eyes. Not the Akira Yaegashi vs Roman Gonzalez fight for the WBC and Ring Magazine flyweight belts.
