Wembley Arena, London - IBF/WBA 'regular' super middleweight king Carl Froch has warned his former opponent, George Groves (20-2, 15KOs), to stay away from WBC champion Anthony Dirrell.

Groves, after suffering back from back to back stoppage defeats to Carl Froch, returned on Saturday night with a twelve round unanimous decision over Christopher Rebrasse (22-3, 6KOs) to capture the EBU/WBC silver super middleweight titles. Groves is now the mandatory challenger Dirrell.

Groves fades because of his fighting stance - it makes him exert too much energy. Anthony Dirrell is similar to Froch, he is a little more technical. They both fight with bad intentions and they do not move around. Dirrell said he doesn't want to defend his title against Groves because he was stopped in back to back fights against Froch - so he inturn said he would like to fight Froch - good unification bout.

The Dirrell bros don't box similarly but Froch knows from experience that they are talented. He knows deep in his heart he was fortunate that fight was in UK. He was getting his ears boxed off by Andre "running" or not. I see the fight between Dirrell-Groves as being competitive. I haven't been sold on his chin yet I don't think Anthony hits as hard as Froch
