How many times should Steele have asked Taylor if he was ok? 3? 4? 5?

Go watch Mosley Mayorga. Fighters are rarely, if ever in the actual corner. More often than not they are pretty much close by ready to pounce. Mosley scored his ko with when the ref motioned for them to fight with 5 seconds left. Chavez had just as much time and was not in the neutral corner either. If you watch the replay, the clock stopped a few seconds after Steele waved it off. The stoppage came at 5 to 4 seconds. The clock stopped at 2.The reason the stoppage is justified is simple....too simple.
Safety first and no one can argue it without looking like someone who doesn't care for the fighters safety. By the time Chavez got from the neutral corner to Taylor the fight would have been over and Taylor would have won....but safety first.Comment

Didn't Mayorga get KO'd by Mosley in the last three seconds RIGHT after getting up? Chavez Sr. would of bumrushed Taylor.
Anything could of happened.Comment

Like I said, Steel looked like he was in a bit of a hurry. All he had to do is his job without rushing and time would have run out. He was rushing..no doubt.Go watch Mosley Mayorga.
