Rewatching, Rescoring broner-maidana

Broner is tough cos he took maidanas best punches and shook them off and didn't seem to have any lasting effects on him in the fight and was fighting back pretty good.
I suppose he had a good 12th round as Maidana was still trying to shake off that punch after that bell that he got caught cold with. If Broner had of taken that shot from Maidana, he would have been rolling on the floor trying to get a disqualificationComment

He got his ass beat. Only chance he had was because of the blatant late punch after the bell of round 11. That was a coward move and he knew hurting him after the bell was the only shot he had at ko'ing him in the 12th. Fight wasn't close.Comment

Broner can't beat Maidana. Or atleast he will always have big problems with him.
Doesn't have the defense to stop getting hit repeatedly and we know he can hurt him.
Doesn't really have the skills to outbox him.Comment

Broner needed to let his hands go more often... He was not active enough.. Anytime he let his hands go later in the fight, he was having successComment

I agree. I think Broner showed grit. I like both fighters and recognize that AB is an ass but he can fight. It kind of reminded me of Trinidad vs Vargas in that Vargas and Broner were hurt bad in the first rounds and still soldiered to the end.Broner is tough cos he took maidanas best punches and shook them off and didn't seem to have any lasting effects on him in the fight and was fighting back pretty good.
