Jorge Sebastian Heiland tore through normally durable Mateo Damian Veron, scoring three knockdowns en route to a 5th round knockout in the televised co-feature.

Heiland struck early and often, sending Veron to the canvas in round three and then twice more in round five. The fight-ending sequence was a straight left hand from the southpaw boxer, putting Veron down and out.

The official time was 0:55 of round five.

Heiland improves to 24-4-2 (12KOs) with the win, his third straight. His last loss came 15 months ago, landing on the wrong end of a decision versus Veron (19-14-2, 3KOs) in their third fight last June.

Narvaez has been one of the great champions and fighters of the lasst decade. he's a master. It's a shame most will remember him from his awful fight with Donaire.

Narvaez hasn't defeated any elite fighter in his long career just lots of modest rivals and most of his fights have been in Argentina. Over there some decisions have been controversial like the first against same Orucuta (which lead to this rematch). He has never tried to unify titles and to date his biggest challenge was Nonito.

Donaire is the only guy 2 divisions bigger, significantly younger. More powerful et all. The Flash thought he was going to blast out some Argentinian though in the end Narvaez spoiled the party. Collected a 1 off pay day and continued to fight solid contenders in a division that he actually fits into.

Narvaez didn't spoil anything except his own career outside of Argentina. He will be nothing but a footnote in Donaire's career.

And he had the nerve to jealously bash Martinez, who actually fought and beat the best in his division, something Narvaez never did.
