That is pretty much the consensus, although Stiverne is much more likely to also win by early KO than Wilder is to by decision.

If Stiverne move around that is a huge mistake and he will get beat most likely because he will leave him self open while still in range and he will get planted. If he uses his boxing to attack Wilder and make him uncomfortable then he stands a very good chance of making Wilder look very dumb.

Just think about it for a second Stiverne is the better boxer but he is not a defensive guy at all so him moving around letting Wilder go on offense is letting Wilder have a huge chance. Putting Wilder on the defensive though, unless Wilder pulls something out of his hat that is a very tough fight for him to win.

Rumours, but apparently coming from a good source.

After those two incidents, they decided to go easy on each other in prep for Tyson Fury. Or so the story goes.
I could have sworn I saw a short clip of them two sparring a while back and Haye buckled Wilder.

I agree with this synopsis. It's more that Stiverne likes to sit back though and look to counterpunch but his evasiveness isn't good though and Wilder is long and fast. Stiverne will have to approach Wilder differently than Arreola. He will need to be more aggressive and come at Wilder early.

If he employs this strategy then yes I can see an avenue for Stiverne to get Wilder early too!!

Let's face it, it Stiverne closes the gap and lands one of those big flush shots on Wilder it's all over. Wilder has nowhere near the chin of Arreola or the infighting skills.

          **** I hope so!!

That's true. All reports came out that Haye made Wilder look like a complete fool too.

There was a few guys at the time claiming the opposite happened but it was without substance.

Wilder definitely got wobbled in one clip but there were two other sequences that Wilder landed a very short right hand that got to Haye but nothing as clear as the Haye shot...all of it was very brief and sparring isn't the fight but here is a clip

Also I'm with you on Stiverne and how he should approach Wilder in that fight. He's shorter and looks slow on his feet but he has a burst when he needs to close the gap.

Yeah I hope that's what we'll see from Stiverne. It could be a very quick fight. Other wise if he can manage to survive past Wilder's customary 4 rounds I think Wilder will gas/slow down and Stiverne will get him anyway.

I give Wilder some very large chances to strike it rich early on though too. Certainly wouldn't be betting on this fight. Both are massive punchers for sure.

On the Haye thing, yeah I seen that one too. I didn't think Wilder got Haye very clean at all there and in fact credit Haye with bending around Wilder like he was an amateur. Even when Haye does get tagged it's rarely clean. Rather doubt Haye would want to wear one of his flush big shots though I think under fight conditions Haye could bolt in and smash Wilder out equally likely too.

As much as I dislike Haye I think it's a shame he folded out of boxing. He had real potential. I reckon he could have done better against Wladimir. He clearly wanted to survive which was smart I guess and look to land a good pot shot to stagger him. An opening that never came. I think Haye kind of underestimated how hard Wlad really was to fight. He's just a chin flapper now Haye!
