A simple matter of an 85 year old guy who has been faithful for over a decade and Mayweather has always showed him love and respect, and people here want to turn this into a conspiracy theory.

    Classic Boxing Scene.

Garcia is 85, God bless him on his retirement. It sounds like it was an amicable departure

If you're retiring after 18 yrs why revamp your team?

        For 1 year?

Don't be ****** my fellow posters..Floyd is not retiring!

        Stop playing into that..please.

Like they're just going to shut down the multi million dollar machine that is Mayweather lol

Like Floyd don't love money lol like Floyd is responsible to manage and live off the money he has for the rest of his life!

        Please stop.

He's definitely changing, he's turning on his own people and bringing in all these new guys that are slimey as hell. Let's see if he actually did a stroke of genius or selling his soul.
Well we all know Shafer is a thief he rob Floyd far greater than Slick Willie did

i knew this was gonna happen, if u notice in the all access show and during the media work out when tattoo started interviewing gracia, u can see floyd not liking it, like he's thinking to himself wtf are u doing being interview when ur job is to wrap my hands only.

u could see floyd giving gracia dirty looks and then to add more to it when tattoo started asking floyd whats some of the great things that gracia does, u can see floyd getting pissed like wtf are we talking about him? then floyd tried to cover that up by saying he surround himself with the best.

Isn't Garcia really old? I doubt he fired him. He probably just told him it is time to move on. But you know since it is Mayweather the clowns on here are going to make it something it is not.

Actually he was in the locker room arguing with Justin Bieber of who gets to massage Floyd's penis with their esophagus first. He lost hence the bitter post.

So Floyd let him go, would that make u feel better by saying Floyd let gracia go instead of fired? lol

First and foremost, Garcia and Floyd seemed like they had a very good relationship. According to what's written in the article Garcia left on his own accord. If any of you guys actually read the article you would have noticed that as well. Personally, if I were Garcia an 85 year old man, who has been praised by everyone as being a legend, walked in to wrap Floyd's hands, and someone else was doing this already, and Floyd then tells you to get back to Mickey Bey's corner; how would you feel? Being that I am an empathetic human being, I would assume he felt a little humiliated, embarrassed and maybe even betrayed. At that age its easy to be hurt (I know,I deal with a lot of older folk), so I can't blame him for quitting. Mind you I could be very wrong here, I don't know exactly what went on, but judging by what I see on the cameras I believe this to be very plausible. To be honest if I were Floyd, I would have gotten rid of everyone on the stable, including Mickey Bey, just to make sure Garcia stayed around, even it if wasn't to wrap my hands. I hope that this was a mutual and respectful departure, where there is no ill-will involved. There was an article in RING magazine I believe a few years back, where they interviewed Rafael Garcia, and he explains how he and Floyd's relationship began, if you read that article, you too would feel a little sad that they are no longer working with each other.

As dumb as this may sound; It's silly little things like this that make it really hard for a lot of people to root for Floyd.

With that being said. Judging by the comments on this particular post, and some of the other posts as well, there are some real classless people on this website.
