I contacted the FBI about this. unfortunately i didn't get any sort of reply back, but glad to see that someone is looking into this. it's definitely an illegal fighting ring (fight till the death, people are betting, no air conditioning, no breaks, loud and rowdy crowd, etc.).

If anyone thinks that Sr. or Jr. give a damn about anyone but themselves your delusional. That session was ridiculous and if your having a "gym fight" its was always a private session. Floyd has never shown any integrity and is classless.
When the most visual personality in boxing acts like this guy does boxing has no chance to regain its popularity. The heavyweight champ is a bore in the ring and the best p4p is "gangsta" living in a mansion in Vegas? hahahaha!!!

When these guys finally go away boxing will have a chance to become a sport again with straight up matches. Until then the cherry pickers rule.

I hate to burst your bubble, Pactards, but ******** is legal in Vegas. Sure, they call it "The Dog House" but all those fighters are actually licensed by the commission so they can fight professionally (for money) or spar in the gym as they please. Again, sorry.

The fighters are licences to fight in a sanctioned event for money, not a gym fight. ******** is legal in Vegas, provided it's at a licensed venue.

I don't see the licence for the mayweather gym or any sanctioning of these fights in the gym. And it's clear the fighters aren't getting paid, the people betting are.

I have nothing wrong with hard sparring but the commission is right to call this up. If this goes on day after day it is definitely illegal.

In my gym they do a similar thing except there is a time limit.

Often when a fighter fatigues they tend to step out the ring and say 'next time' even if they are clearly winning the bout. At the end of the day, the boxers who decide to take part in such activity should be held accountable for their own actions.

                      I have mixed feelings:

I think as Ray said above, Floyd and his ways, his manner, his demands for his fights, his serial woman beating, etc are bad news all around, including for the sport. However I also don't like the state deciding that grown men of sound judgement can not be trusted to look after their own interests.

Yes....These types of "smokers" should be private, but....Nevada boxing officials should also respect the fact that these are not children involved, rather they are boxers of sound mental and physical constitution. These people have the right to train and fight as they please.

Despite Floyd being a classless cherry picking idiot, the people that egg his demise on, have to assume some responsability for their actions.
