It's easy work for AB. It was easy work for Danny, it should be Easy work for AB.

This is such a bad fight for Broner, the Maidana fight was as well I knew it at the time, I'm not a Broner fan so I didn't much care, but his career is being mishandled and his potential stunted, whether he is overruling his team in some of these decisions I'm not sure, I wouldn't be surprised, but he needs to match himself better now, I am one of those fans who feels when you have a talent like Broner you need to build until he has hit close to his prime, then put him in at the deep end and see if he sinks or swims. The Paulie fight was a good bit of match making as he got a strap against a name, and dipped his toes in the WW division, but the danger signs were there to see, he wasn't so effective with his punching power and that made him vulnerable to return fire and he was out worked in large portions of the fight. He looked very unpolished all of a sudden, and flaws that were not so visible at 135 were at 147.

His team should have immediately insisted he move back down, maybe they did. He is a fighter who relies more on physical dominance then Mayweather for example, who used skill, speed, and defence, but even then Floyd was careful after 135 to fully acclimate and fill out at 140, and 147. He took his time, a fighter who has far more ability then Broner.

Broner now may never become the fighter he might've had he been in less of a hurry, he should have dropped to 140 and built there. He could have worked out the kinks in his game and improved his weaknesses against lesser punchers at 140. He can still do that now, but he has lost his undefeated record, his aura, and his career has stalled big time. He may have never become a force at 147 and maybe his style dictates that he never will, but it's fair to say he hasn't been managed well at all. It's not too late, but unfortunately I think he is too much of a douche to realise where he is going wrong. Anyway he is a good fighter to watch, and I'm sure he will be in good fights and big fights, but the armchair promoter in me will always wonder what might have been if he had a more astute promotional team, despite what a complete ass Bob Arum is I think Top Rank would have been perfect for Broner.

Danny is way better than broner and also got a better chin. Matthysse beats the **** out of him. Prime Cotto would have retired broner btw.

I actually like Broner, seems like a cool guy and all. I also find him entertaining, funny and good for boxing.

But he is not very good. Lucas will eat him. Broner struggled against C level Malignaggi and didn't look very good against journeyman Emmanuel Taylor... don't get hyped over that ''performance'' Taylor is a statue in the ring.

I think that's a reflection of where Maidana was rated this time last year as much as anything else. It's been a crazy year for him.

LOL, Taylor was beating him up against the ropes, Matthysse will beat Broner to a pulp.

Danny is better than broner, and has more power,,

Lucas should be able to overwhelm broner and land on his chin.. At best I think broner will be as competitive as Alexander and Judah were and it will be a split decision either way. Or broner will end up like Peterson and get blown out quickly.. I don't see a realistic scenario in which broner makes easy work of lucas

Come on now man, I know you're an unashamed fanboy but saying it'd be easy is just ridiculous. Have some objectivity.

I got Broner on a split decision. Lucas is a nearly man. Looks great against weaker opposition but when up against the big boys will fall short. I'd happily be proved wrong though as he's an entertaining fighter.
