According to multiple sources in Germany, former champions Felix Sturm and Robert Stieglitz will collide on November 8th at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Germany. The fight is going to take place at a catch-weight between 160 and 168.

Sturm (39-4-2, 18KOs) was last seen in May, losing his IBF middleweight title to Sam Soliman by way of a twelve round unanimous decision. Because the Stieglitz fight will pay at least 10 times more money

When the opportunity came up it was Ramadan, Sturm is a ******. And he injured his arm in the Soliman fight. That's why he passed on the opportunity.

The money between a Stieglitz fight and a Stevens fight in Germany wouldn't be that big for Sturm.

The fight is at a catchweight of 166 lb.

Solid match up between two elite level competitors who's best days are behind them, shame Felix didn't move up or face one ofStieglitz or Abraham in his prime.

Interesting matchup, but really rather futile on the World scene!

Actually a good fight, is Sturm big enough to do well above 160? Stieg hits pretty hard and Sturm has been on a massive slide!

It's not a fight I would plan my weekend around, but it does make sense for both at this point in their careers.
