They took the opportunity to bash the fighters they hate obviously. Not so creative at all. This thread was meant to poke fun at casual fans, not actual fighters.

WORST thing I heard of a casual saying... My brothers friend told him, and my brother is into the sport, that Cassius Clay changed his name to Muhammad Ali because he killed a man in the ring early in his pro career, and the guilt of what he did to his opponent was linked with his name so he changed it...

Even the most casual of casuals must know about the Clay/Ali name change and the reasons behind it. There isn't a person on the planet (within reason) that hasn't heard of Ali and some of the key factors of his legacy.

Oh and another one, a guy I know once said that the reason Ali and Tyson never fought was because they sparred together and after the sparring session Ali admitted he wanted none of Mike. Of course this is irrespective of the fact that Ali was done and a few years into retirement before Mikes pro career even began, but hey, thats casuals for you...
