I think this is a legit option for floyd but he would have to give cotto a good reason to fight him again, more $$$, given he did not seem happy with the judges cards when they fought and floyd have a lot to gain,(lineal title at 5th division, never been done) but if cotto takes half of the pie for the canelo fight, it'd be hard for floyd to beat that wihout sacrifising a lot of dough, floyd would pretty much the b side for this one......

This thread is funny because I have seen several interviews where Oscar has clearly stated that Floyd was not the reason the fight hasn't happened. He also hinted at PAC being a cheater. So what changed???Now Bob wants the fight in Macau?? First it was some imaginary ultimate stadium (that never got built)now he wants to take the fight overseas after all the years of support from Americans. They both need to retire

Canelo vs Cotto is a big fight to boxing fans but it's not huge event; the US media can care less about either of them. Floyd's flop is still better than there 3 PPV's combined this year. Only Floyd or Manny will be involved in fights that can 1mil PPV for the foreseeable future. You don't go from bith fighters barely scrapping 375k to a jump 1mil-1.5 mil that's laughable.

If anything, oscar has implied that floyd did not want the fight vs pac in the george lopez show as many boxers have samely said like duran, hagler, hollyfield, pryor, etc..read my sig , got a link back it up too..

And unlike yogaboy, pac does not demand impossible things like sigining to his amateur promotional outfit to make the fight , fight going to macau was never demanded ...

It is the biggest event only next to pac vs floyd...neither pac or floyd can compete with that without fighting each other ..and both canelo and cotto are easily the biggest draws outside the obvious 2, atleast in the US..also,as of right now, nobody is doing million dollar buy fights anyways...

And with jumping from 350 -390 k buys -mill buys, thats pretty much what happened to floyd and pac after fighting delahoya..
