you are right, manny won, FOTD. Floyd didn't, yet floyd is seen by most as the best fighter of his era. It's ok man.

You and all of Manny's fans can't change the way boxing remembers. Frazier went on to do many things, but down goes frazier is a classic. Duran went on to do great things, but no mas-classic. Manny may go on to great things. But everytime going forward at some point, you will hear that southern crackly scrawl as only RJJ can doit:

Dude the majority of Hardcore boxing fans would not have Floyd in the top 5 of ATG's.. Most probably wouldn't rate him top 10 and some not even top 20. Do a poll on any hardcore boxing site and I think most would rate Floyd 20-30 on the ATG list. ESPN isn't a credible site for anything boxing related anymore.. They were back in the 80's and early 90's, but in the year 2014 not at all. And for the record I'm no fan of Pac's either.. go check my comment history if you want.

I agree he isn't top 5 all time and I agree he would fall somewhere between 20-30.

the espn voter is the casual sports fan who obviously doesn't agree with what Pac Boy said. that's why I posted it. Journalists that vote on that respect floyd a lot more than NSB posters.

We actually don't know how good Floyd's official PPV numbers are anymore being that they refuse to release them to the public. The numbers from the first Maidana fight is lost somewhere with Flight MH370.
