you have to understand naut that many fans had an incredible amout of faith in jeff lacy it was like a blow to there own pride the way he was beaten as it was to mine. You will have seen a lot of anger from real lacy fans after the fight but the day after the fight you will actually see them talking about the fight instead of just saying ****** **** like I did. Loses like that are hard for fans to swollow at first and It takes a bit to put things into perspective and belive me you can tell the guys who were real Lacy fans and those just on the ban wagon. The real lacy fans are the ones analysing the fight and what his next moves are going to be all the puncks are running there mouths saying I told you so or lacy suck really they are not say ****. So take it with a grain of salt you have been around this site long enought to know the real posters to the drama queens.

Best post of the year. I'm serious. Lacy has shown great sportsmanship and heart, and he hung in there despite the beating he took. so people who calling him out as a "bum" or as "trash" dont know anything.

You didn't see Lacy quit on his stool that's for sure!!! he was the ibf champ and he battled to the end like a champ would. 99% of people would have either been ko'd or would have quit. not Jeff Lacy.

Lacey was never a "phenom" or anything like that. He is a tough guy, a good athlete with alot of heart. I never viewed him as Mosley was at one time, or DLH or Trinidad. I knew he was in for a beating soon but I didn't knwo enough of Calzaghe's true ability to think it was coming the other night.

Lacey will end up with a career more like Omar Sheikah than Bernard Hopkins.
