Absolutely! Thurman with living legends like Julio Diaz, Soto Karass and Diego Chavez, and a fan base numbering in the tens of millions is far more "deserving" of a shot at Floyd.

I get everything that Khan is saying but how is he going to be Floyd? He's not going to test Floyd physically like Maidana and he's not the power puncher Maidana is either. At 37 bigger and more physical fighters challenge Floyd more than a fighter like Khan.

The new Maidana under Robert Garcia beats EVERYBODY @ 147 except Floyd, Thurman and maybe Brook and believe me he could very well beat those too. The old Maidana should've been awarded a 10th round KO over Khan and the new one would annihilate Khan. Thurman has called Khan out many times, it's very hard to respect Khan for not addressing that last night while they were being interviewed. Khan doesn't even deserve a shot at Kell Brook let lone Floyd. Give Maidana the rematch he's been begging for punk since you think Floyd is slipping or shut the **** up!!!!

Khan is sooooooooooooo embarrassing, some one should tell him that he has NEVER even fought a contender at welterweight and has no right to title fight with Mayweather, the truth is he shouldn't even be talking about a Mayweather fight unless he's talking of beating SOMEONE to earn a title fight.
This guy is BAD for boxing!.....Why doesn't he try twittering David Cameron see if he will help....what a clown.

Khan is right as far as mayweather aging. Money is human body just like any other person or athlete pass their prime.but khan can not fight. Altjough he beat collazo. He looked terrible plus collazo was there to make alittle money. Get a win over thurman and you can fight mayweather.

yea then he wakes up he a weakling who does not have the power and physical ability to pressure floyd like maidana did all he has is fast hand to miss most of the punches he will throw at floyd he simply trying to drum up a pay day as for the pac man fight i do not thing floyd needs pac man or pac man needs him this is simply the haters trying to find someone the think can beat floyd they forgetting the fact that pac man refuse 40 mill to fight cause he did not want randon drug testing that a pac man floyd fight would bte a copy of the marquez fight with pac man being to small cna get inside and his jumping in and out stly is tailor made for mayweather

I am sorry that you have to resort to name-calling. Facts would be much more effective in supporting your position.

So Thurman is deserving of a shot at Floyd based on the potential he shows, and not his resume? He may be all you think he is, but he needs to show it against better competition before being annointed as the second coming. GGG was in an analagous situation, but as his fan basegrowis, the economics of fighting him are much more attractive, the big names who once avoided him are reconsidering. Thurman has to earn his shot like anyone else.
