According to the European Boxing Union’s general secretary Enza Jacoponi, a purse bid for a clash for a vacant EBU cruiserweight title between Russia’s Rakhim Chakhkiev (19-1, 14 KOs) and former WBC champion Giacobbe Fragomeni (32-4-2, 13 KOs) of Italy is now called off for good, as both parties agreed to collide on Ocober 24 in Moscow, Russia, under the promotion of “World of Boxing” LLC, led by Russian boxing tycoon Andrey Ryabinskiy.

Kinda feels like a backwards step by Rakhim.I feel he is riding a high since the Silgado win,he showed maturity,durability and round pacing,everything he once lacked.it is actually frightening witnessing the power of Rakhim when he puts his combinations together,as Charlie Z would say "300psi ain't no man taking that power" haha

With Drozd lined up with Diablo,kinda leaves Rakhim hanging so the dude gotta stay busy,I understand he can not find willing opponent whilst Huck digs up guys out of cemetery and Hernandez fights Huck's leftovers.if Lebedev is to possibly face Diablo winner,their really isn't anyone there for Chakhkiev to fight,too high risk low reward,I understand no one wants to face him.
