i think maidana said he was willing to fight him any time and matthysse said he was willing to fight him too but thought they should wait until the fight was bigger (that was a couple of years ago).

from what i gathered they are were friends back in the day and check up on one another from time to time but they arent too close these days. matthysse (who now owns a tattoo parlor) did say he did one or two tattoos on maidana, his first if i recall correctly.

i agree with matthysse, if it makes sense they should fight but there is no need to force it if there are better options.

Chino has a lot of native American blood in him. As in native south American "indians" maybe Toba or Tehuelche, tough warrior mofos by all accounts, kept fighting the conquistadores till the very end. Carlos Monzon also had Patagonian Indian blood in him.
