This guy is more over rated than Matts and Broner ever were IMO. I will admit Getting his ass kicked made for great TV. But this guy was never anything more than a hype job.
    this. he was extremely overrated

Repost - but Karma/Ego is what happened

Mtwaga ruined JuanMa, Salido sealed the deal.
I was a big JuanMa fan until the Caballero deal. Every KO loss is like correcting a boxing misdeed. He walked around like his ish don't stink. I don't feel sorry for any of his KO losses. As paying fans who eagerly anticipate fights that elevate our favorite fighters into the hollow grail. Oh well.

I mean if you want to go even farther - his demise started with the De Leon KO1 win he had. From then on, he lost all form and technique and started relying on his power. Mtagwa and Salido handled that power and it the rest is history.

Hopefully JuanMa retires and realizes his heath is more important than his love for boxing.

Salido. He was never the same after that. Finally fought a fighter that could take his punches and hit him back just as hard. This showcased a lot of Juanma's weakness, not being able to adjust being one of them.

The Mtwaga fight to go along with the Salido fight took everything out of him and ruined him. He isn't smart in the ring, he's slow, could give a *** about defense, and always goes for the KO instead of boxing and being patient to let the KO come. Confidence went down the toilet.
