    What happend to JuanMa Lopez?

Many of you slags are gonna deny this....but deny all you want...if you go back in these very same forums just a few years back...JuanMa was a feared man and talked about as the next Tito Trinidad...the next big thing coming atta PR... and then

    Salido happened....

    Then Salido happened harder.....

    Then Mikey happened...

Then it started getting sad when Vargas happened....

and now Cuellar happened....and that SHOULD be a career....

but what happened?? I mean this dude is 31 years old not a young pup but not a old man either... give your best explanation to why this dude's career just PLUMMETED in just a few years....

    wachugot??

Salido started it. Salido removed his confidence as fighter, he shouldnt have rematch salido. Salido had his number, then the beating took a toll both psychologically and physically. Thats my reason though.

He was never EVER in the class of tito and Cotto. Only thing he had going for him was he was Puerto rican and had a built in fanbase, especially after Tito started riding with him. He was never as popular as either tito or cotto. Verdejo is the one who is really occupying the space tito and cotto will leave.

This guy is more over rated than Matts and Broner ever were IMO. I will admit Getting his ass kicked made for great TV. But this guy was never anything more than a hype job.

Easy, he made the same mistake so many heavy handed punchers make when they flatten the majority oftheir oopposition, they fall in love with their power and abandoned their technique of setting up their punches for that of the "money" shot.

One could even say the early signs were there in the later rounds of his fight with Mtagwa. I simply think his punch resistance was ruined in the Salido fight and it was all down hill from there.

Everyone seems to forget Rogers Mtagwa! He nearly killed Juanma! Dude was practically dead in the ring, how he was able to stand till the final bell was some kind of magic. Then uncle bob sent in Gamboa to take care of the Mtagwa problem. But that is when Juanma's chin took some serious damage. Solido just finished the job.
