As a Floyd fan I agree that Kenny was much to quick to break them up. With that being said Floyd didn't get warned for clinching because the majority of his clinches along the ropes were initiated AFTER PUNCHING. He rarely just reached out and grabbed.Comment

It ****** that everyone's fear of Bayless being extra sensitive came to fruition. He broke them apart too soon many times when one fighter was still trying to work and he never warned Mayweather for excessive clinching. I also thought the point deduction from Maidana was too quick. With that said, the fight was the whitewash that I thought the first one would be.Comment

I don't get as a Mayweather fan, you can be like YA! TBE He Dominated!
I had it 7-5 Mayweather... Im glad the judges had it the same. All the things Mayweather had his way, youd think it would have been wider.Comment

Roberts plan was to keep distance and not smother like I said. And when he tried that Floyd picked him apart. You guys are I berating China's inside game big time because it's Floyd. Even with Smoger Floyd would win lol. China bit Floyd but it's ok. By any means broIf Maidana can't fight on the inside then this fight wasn't worth paying a dime for. Floyd wanted a fair fight you think? NO!!!! Floyd wanted all the advantages.
- Floyd got the large ring, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators.
- Floyd got to hold illegal all night long, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators.
- Floyd got Maidana to wear those pillow gloves, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators.
- Bayless was breaking them up even when Maidana was free, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators
- Maidana got deducted a point with no warnings while Floyd holding, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators
- Kenny Bayless had an awful night, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators
This fight gave Floyd all of the advantages while taking away Maidana's .......Comment

True. What I never understood is when idiots compare the Floyd Mayweather of today (37 years old) with fighters of yesteryear in their primes and say Floyd is not as good. Teddy Atlas did that on Sportscenter tonight. He claimed that the difference between Mayweather and Sugar Ray Leonard is Leonard would have KO'd Maidana. Leonard fought his last two fights at age 31 (a decision loss to Terry Norris) and age 39 (a KO loss to Hector Camacho). At age 37, Leonard was retired. Also, Leonard started and fought most of his career at 147. Floyd started and fought most of his career at 130. There is no comparison between Floyd of today and the Leonard, Hearns and Duran (in their primes) of yesteryear.
There are a lot of really, really dumb boxing fans and out there and most of them post on Boxinscene message board.Comment
