I don't mind the Angulo fight, he's moving up in weight but he's not fighting a total bust but Santa Cruz vs. Roman is a disgrace, just look at the purses. Showtime didn't want to invest into a big undercard, they want to make money. I expect some type of brawl at the weigh-in or some confrontation to try and boost sales. I'm still pumped for the fight though.

The problem is there are dozens upon dozens of fighters across two divisions who have done more to earn that one chance at a title. By that logic, you could defend a beltholder fighting some 1-49 fighter because "every fighter wants that shot at a title."

This is some lameass Apollo Creed logic, only without the ranked contenders ducking Creed to justify it. All that's left is the ****ty opponent.

It doesn't matter if the card is stacked or not. Boxing fans will find some way to complain. I remember when they put Matthyse vs Garcia on Canelo vs Mayweather card and boxing fans still was complaining. Thats all most of you do is complain about fights, make corny childish memes and talk crap about fighters all day. We don't need those type of fans in boxing. Y'all want the best vs best every fight but tell me what other sport that puts their #1 vs #1 every event?? What happened to the days where #1 or #2 fighter in a certain division could actually fight a guy in the top 10 and not get crucified?

The LSC fight is a mismatch but the angulo is OK considering this is the fight that will determine if he's shot or not
