As much as I'd like to say Kellerman has shiiiit out more knowledge about boxing then Haymon will ever know with his nonsense mobster mentality of the boxing business, and as much as I think Kellerman could take him 1 on 1....

advisor is his title. he's really a manager, but he acts / operates like a promotor.

the reason he is so powerful is simple:

floyd mayweather, and many other top fighters, do what he tells them to do.

by doing what he says, he gets them on TV and for great money. the opponents are often pushovers.


haymon has a ton of leverage because of his involvement with so many different top fighters. when HBO started to get wise, he went to showtime, and took virtually all of his fighters with him.
