Why bring pacquiao up? I like broner, but he embarrased himself that day. Pacquiao has nothing to do with the broner-maidana fight.

note* I like the way broner manned up and fought maidana to the end. If he starts fighting more like adrien broner, hell get better.

Broner was overly confindent that he'd beat Maidana. He showed him no respect. He was touted to be the heir-apparent to Mayweather prior to the Maidana fight. He suffered not only his first defeat, but was also knocked down for the first time in that fight x 2. His reaction after losing the fight- leaving the ring and heading to the dressing room without giving an interview, the look on his face and body language, shows that he felt humiliated. That said, he did try to put up a fight and didn't just quit.

1st, Broner has learned from the maidana fight and I bet he knows now he can't say in the pocket vs a big puncher. He fought taylor the way he did because taylor is not a big puncher. He would fight matthysse or any other big puncher a lot different and not lay on the ropes as much. 2nd, one thing we know for sure is that broner is not scared to fight anyone. With that being said, i highly doubt he's ducking molina, same molina that gets out boxed every time he steps up in class. Broner would destroy this dude, nothing special about him except his overhead right.

Respect for Broner because after the zhit he talks he comes to fight, but after watching the Taylor fight he's still very hittable, he's no Mayweather, Matthyse would touch him good for sure. It would be a good fight and it should be for a title.

I'll reserve judgement till he announces who he's fighting next. If he fights Lucas my money is on the machine.

There was nothing embarrasing about Pac getting KO'd. Pac gave it his all and was actually winning. Getting caught happens. He stood up like a man and gave JMM his props after without making any excuses.

Broner talked crap, wrote Maidana off as some chump, and in the end got beaten like a step child then ran out the ring with his head down embarrased.

At this stage of my life as a fight fan, I don't care about prefight hype. That's probably why guys like Floyd and Broner don't annoy me the way they do other people. That's why the "humbling" of arrogant fux like them leaves me with an indifferent feeling.

I doubt that Broner's the first, nor will he be the last fighter to leave the ring without giving a postfight interview after being concussed and suffering a broken jaw. Personally, I haven't watched a postfight in I don't know how long. So those things aren't nearly as important yo me as they are to the majority.

Hell fight him. Broner enjoys a good fight, win or loss. He was out on his feet against Chino and put up a great stand in the final rounds.

I love Lucas but Maidana has three things over him

                      Maybe power, grittier, and confidence.

Chinos grit is out of this world. Lucas may be the Machine but notice how emotional he gets after every fight and how down he gets on himself. Lost winnable fights for a reason. Talent is great but belief makes a huge difference. He is a quiet sensitive dude. Love him but missing Chinos grit.
Good points. However, watch the adjustments Lucas makes in the Molina fight as the rust (and probably eye worry) start to drop off. He also looked leaner and more defensive in the RG fight. Add to this that He has rediscovered his jab and doesn't stay in the pocket as much. Rewatch his last fight and look for him finding his range with the finishing liver shot, which he measured for about 10 seconds before.

I hope this fight gets made. I still like Lucas for this one as broner gets hit too much and Lucas' cominations will hurt him.
