Originally posted by Aztekkas View PostWell, I thought so. If it went to the cards Amnat would win, Arroyo had to KO him. Anyway good win for Amnat, his resume is getting stronger. Solid win over Rocky Fuentes, spectacular win over Kazuto and now a win against a strong contender in Arroyo. Nice. I'm sure Arroyo will bounce back.

Practice makes perfect, Pedraza doesn't stress about travel, he may not look as flashy, but his game is good anywhere.
The same reason why I picked the Thai.

Did you watch the fight? Not trying to come at you wrong or anything. Lol
What he said.

Lol don't worry about that, and no. That's why I'm staying away from what went on in the ring since I genuinely have no clue aside from Ruenroeng getting dropped in the 6th or so. I have however been saying that it's difficult for any foreign fighter to win in Thailand due to many factors. Heat, the location itself, judges, etc.. I called it on some other thread, if the fight went to the cards Amnat would win since he is a good boxer and could always make a case for himself. By no means am I saying Amnat doesn't deserve it since I have yet to watch it, but I was pretty sure he would win if it went the full 12 rounds regardless.

Puerco Rico is just not producing championship caliber fighters anymore... their only hope now is Felix Verga or Verdujo... however you spell his last name. Point is PR = 0

It was a very close fight. Arroyo should had won due to DQ. But he also could had won if e didnt let some rounds away with inactivity. The Thai punches were hitting glove and elbow but that type of activity sway away judges.

I thought the judge's scoring was fair, but Ruenrong got away with an excessive amount of clinching. If the ref had done the right thing and deducted a point (at the very least), the result on the scorecards would have been different. It was a very frustrating fight to watch...Last edited by Caxcan; 09-10-2014, 11:27 AM.
