Yeah, or Jr. truly feels Maidana didn't do jack to him the first bout and plans for a repeat performance here in which Maidana can't change his style and his style wins by default. I honestly would not imagine Jr. putting himself in a matchup that contains too high risk in that he can honestly have a chance to lose. He just wouldn't do that. He's in control of every matchup he's had for over the past 10 bouts. All the dots were connected to protect that zero and I don't see it changing here.
Remember, Jr. needs compelling enough matches to justify Showtime's what? 350million contract with Jr. Without taking Pacquiao, he doesn't have much options left that are lucrative and safe. Beating Maidana already and the public making a case that Maidana did enough to deserve a rematch gives Jr. plenty reason to proceed with a sequel here. A sequel with nothing much changing outside of him SERIOUSLY aging overnight which I don't see happening the way he takes care of himself outside the ring.
