Floyd said because of his hands being hurt. IMO it was a little bit of that but moreso to grow his brand by taking advantage of his new found celebrity status garnered from his performance on the 24/7.

Now are you going to answer my questions or not?
In 2008, ODH wasnt in championship title matches like in 2001 and 2002. Floyd was also in championship titles in those times. He just beat diego corrales that year and hasnt even had his fight against jose luis castillo yet. A 154 lbs fighter fighting a 130 lbs fighter proves absolutely nothing and a ridiculous fight to be made. Thats the real reason it didn't happen. You STILL havent answered my original question

    here it is again.
Why didnt floyd fight cotto at 147 lbs?

Floyd hasn't and won't ever be on the level of a prime De La Hoya.

In 2001 he fought Gatti, no titles on line. In 2008 he fought forbes, no titles on the line. what does a 160lb fighter fighting a 135 lb fighter at 147 prove?

Because he retired and because Cotto's people didn't pursue the fight. Bronx2245 showed you the article yesterday or the day before. I answered why he retired already.

Now, can you answer my questions regarding your change regarding calling fighters out.

When he fough gatti, he had already made it clear that it was his last fight at welterweight. In 2008, that was his last year fighting. He was fighting at 154, not 160 and floyd was fighting at 130, not 135 idiot. "cotto didnt pursue the fight", how are you gonna pursue a fight with someone that retired? Calling fighters out???? hahahahaha gimme some of what you are smoking

You know the saying that there are two sides to every story? Well, the floydiots only use floyds side of a story to justify his bs. Dunn is the same one who said he didnt have a problem with the garcia-salka fight, that haymon is doing good for boxing

I quoted ESPN, as did others here. I didn't know that what ESPN was an acronym for.

in 2008, his very last fight. Has nothing to do with him and floyd in completely different weight classes fighting for their respective titles in 2001
