It's not the same as Quigg who is clearly not a real champion.

Also people saying he's going to "milk the title" when the fights he's looking at are against Quigg, Santa Cruz and Mares. All great fights in their own right. So how is that "milking the title"? Just because he's not fighting Rigo right now?

It's not like he's trying to fight Forfarna's or Salka's.

People need to learn to differentiate.
Well Frampton is a world champion by todays standards. He is the IBF World Champion no dispute.

Yes milking the title. If he wasn't, why doesn't he fight Rigo, then fight the Quiggs, Santa Cruz's and Mares' after a Rigo fight? It's to milk the title, building the fight to something bigger than it really should be. Perhaps you're differentiating something that shouldn't be, 'milking the title' and making money from it are the same thing..

Quigg, Santa Cruz and Mares are all world class fighters. Santa Cruz is WBC Champion. How the *** is a unification fight "milking the title"? Christ!

"Milking the title" would be fighting bums in Belfast. If he starts doing that, then by all means go ahead and **** on him.

For some reason, they didn't take kindly to this and threw me into "The Hole" with a friendly guy named "DeShaun" who is kindly offering me a lovely array of soaps to clean up with. He's quite a big clumsy fellow though so he keeps dropping them all over the place. Better pick them up before the warden gets back....
I liked the first post, but this one had me laughing with the **** Update****

Ali, The craftsman of the so-called rope-a-dope modus operandi has sold 80% of the marketing rights to his name and iconic likeness for a cool $50 million. The pugilist is keeping the remaining 20% interest.

Amid all the items to be discovered at the Meadowlands Flea Market on Saturday, past the kettle corn and between the $2 leather belts and the $1 bottles of shampoo, was a two-time heavyweight boxing champion of the world.

Rid**** Bowe at a New Jersey flea market. He last boxed in December 2009 in Germany, but he has no bouts planned.

He said, "All I got was a poorly drawn crayon picture of you holding a belt. What the *** are you playing at? Give me my ***ing rent or I'll evict your broke ass"

I proudly replied, "That's legacy, sir. I always paid the rent at my previous flats on time so I built up my rent paying legacy. I was always the first to pay so I had bragging rights over the other tenants. You are welcome, sir"

He then threatened, "Get the *** out or I'm calling the police. You can't pay for rent with that you ***ing nutjob"

I retorted, "But all the dweebs on NSB said legacy and bragging rights were more important than money, sir! You mean to tell me I can't pay for things with legacy?! I quit my job because I thought I could just brag for hours and it would wipe my MasterCard bill out! Oh ***!"

Next thing I know I was being dragged off in handcuffs and being called a "****** worthless bum" by everyone I passed.

              It wasn't a good day.
Haha, good karma to ya dude! Funniest sarcasm post this year.

Why doesn't the latest NSB darling, Roman Gonzalez, just rematch Estrada for "legacy"?

At just 27 years old, undefeated Nicaraguan Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez has managed to touch the top of the boxing world and establish himself as one of the best boxers in the world. However, the triple world champion and second best fighter in the history of the country has gone through difficult times in the past six years since winning his first 105-pound title against Japanese Yutaka Niida. Fortunately, the pugilist has overcome every disadvantage, and never has it affected his performance in the ring.

"I did not make that decision. It was Teiken Promotions, the promoter that is driving my career. And clearly I'm telling you, I have done a lot more than Estrada. So much has been talked about with respect to this fight, but if they do not pay me a million dollars - I will not fight." - Roman 'Money' Gonzalez

I guess he's a "coward" or "scared to lose" for wanting to be paid what he's worth. I thought these guys didn't care about money, they just fight...lol

Why do you think Ali was able to sell the rights to his image and Bowe can barely sell his autograph? Legacy?

Actually you might be able to pay with Legacy. Because if you were that good and amazing, people will higher you for future shows/interviews/promotional events/movies long after boxing career ends. Just look at Tyson, lol.
Jr. on the other hand, he retires, he's done. Nobody is gonna want a piece of the Fraud. They'll let his "legacy" die with him.

We're talking about different eras but I know that Ali didn't build his legacy for free. Money and legacy can often go hand-in-hand. But it's clear which is more important.

I'm glad he was able to earn some money after retirement because the nerds that pollute places like this forum talking about "legacy" weren't going to give a **** that this man compromised his health for their entertainment.
