I think Canelo stated in a video he's not planning to move up anytime soon. This was before the Lara fight I believe.

I thought he was having trouble making 154. Hmm...

But anyway, I'm not sure how well Thurman does at 154 so it's hard to say.

I think P4P Thurman is a better fighter, but Canelo is much bigger than him so not sure how this fight would go.

I think Canelo wins by early KO. Thurman is a very good fighter but Canelo is bigger and better. I think Canelo is not only bigger but faster, a better boxer, a harder puncher and takes a punch better than Thurman.

7-5 Canelo in a fight I wouldnt expect to see many fireworks in. It would be a boxing match between 2 capable boxers with decent power. I honestly don't see a lot separating them except Canelo is significantly larger.

The reason is because he'd never weighed in above 152 and made weight too easily, he even makes 147 easily. He has said he'd move up to 154 for a Canelo fight.
