Green K man, absolutely. Dirty Floyd was two trademark dirty AND dangerous moves.
1)Throwing elbows to the face and throat.
2)Asfixiating when clinching by coverign mouth and nose with his glove.

He says Chino was fighting MMA, the shit he does isnt even allowed in MMA.
Fraud calling any fighter dirty is an oxymoron.

      About elbows...

A smart fighter may theatrically act as if he's injured by Floyd's elbows...
But this supposed smart fighter has to be one of those "slicks"...

Look at the first round Floyd vs Gatti.
        1) Gatti was fighting using a low stance and Floyd kept on pinning him down with his forearm/elbow (~5 times in the round).
        2) Just before the SUCKER PUNCH, Floyd pins Gatti down while punching him several times!!!
        3) After the illegal dirty tactics from Floyd, Ref says "Stop punching". Instead Floyd SUCKER PUNCHES an unexpected Gatti!
        4) Did Floyd get DQed? No! Did Floyd get points deducted? No! Did Gatti's being knocked down become over-ruled due to preceding dirty tacts by Floyd and ref saying "Stop Punching"? No!
        5) Ironically, the only warning by the ref was to Gatti who actually threw a legal punch and commentators were baffled at the refs warning

round 1 starts at 10.40 mark

        .
The ref certainly could have handled that situation better. Arturo Gatti could have handled the situation better himself. Looking at the ref when your opponent is still coming at you is dumb. There is no comparison here to the blatant fouls that Maidana committed repeatedly without being warned or penalized.

lol@2:29(best to start at around 2:27)

throws an elbow right at ricky's face, funnily enough in the castillo fight which he was repeatedly heavily warned(eventually lost apoint), he got his ass kicked vs castillo as his greatest defensive tool was taken away

more referee's should penalize him for that it's highly illegal, he sticks his forearm under your throat and then props your head up, you can't throw any punches with your head pushed back like that and are very vulnerable

A smaller Andre Ward would have transformed Floyd into a hilarious puppet...

You would have a point but you complain about Mayweather's elbow without even mentioning Hatton's usage of his head as a battering ram. Fighters that like to use the crown of their head to push their opponent into position have no grounds to complain about being forearmed in the face. And yes, Maidana was using his head as a battering ram too. If it's okay to block a punch with your forearms I don't see why it wouldn't be okay to block your opponents head in the same way.

I'm not complaining about Mayweather's elbow... I only used this vid in order to suggest that a smart "slick" fighter (like a smaller Ward, for instance) would nullify that highly praised elbow defence...

The problem is that it's not illegal to use the forearm defensively. And if the opponent is bull rushing with their head, blocking the head with the forearm is par for the course. Swinging an elbow offensively is illegal. Maidana actually threw a couple of elbows offensively yet I hear no complaints about that. I wonder why...

this is why you're in red, because you're an idiot, if you're going to fight on the inside on you come in with your head low not your chin up in the air, have you ever seen an inside fight? both guys have their heads on the other guys inner shoulder

james toney uses the shoulder roll too, did you ever see him use that elbow? and dont make excuses for floyd because he literally does it to everyone, everyone is a cheater but floyd, but if floyd didn't use that elbow it would just be another inside fight with one or both guys resting his head on the others inner shoulder so as to smother the punches, nothing illegal about it

Heh? I don't get how your post makes that point. And Andre Ward is a weird example because he admittedly patterns most of his style after Mayweather's; and that includes his defensive tactics.
