So Frampton doesn't want a chance to prove who the best man in the division is? Obviously he and his team do not care about proving who is the best. WTF is wrong with these fighters today? Everyone should rate the best fighter as the champ who is ducked the most. That makes Rigo #1. It is TOO easy to translate what they are saying is they know they cannot beat Rigo.

Rigo is the man in the division. Period.

With that out of the way, if Frampton fights Quigg or Santa Cruz, those are decent fights to establish the top contender for Rigo's crown.

Frampton's team basically admits Rigo will be tough to beat in the ring, so I give them credit for that and cut them slack on the face saving "no money" excuse.

i don't blame him for having scott quigg on top of his list, but it would be a great shame if he refused to ever step in the ring with rigondeaux. i like to see more self-belief and ambition in fighters than that.

I was watching Frampton's post fight interview after he K.O.'ed Cazares.

Even back then he was asked about Rigo , and while Frampton himself said something on the lines of " he's a champion, it'd be a honor to be in the ring with him " his manager was almost interrupting him to say " there are other names".

It seemed obvious that they don't want to risk him , but Frampton himself only gave respect to Rigo, never made excuses (that i've heard of at least).

I can answer that for you.....

"We don't fight for the fans to see who's the best, we fight to make money."

I wonder who's quote that is???

I see this forum is still polluted by ******ed kids who don't understand anything that goes on in the real world.

Why would he fight Rigondeaux now when there's no money in the fight?

Whereas he can take a much easier fight in Scott Quigg where he'll earn 2 or 3 times what he'd earn fighting Rigondeaux. It's a massive fight in the UK.

Explain the logic and don't reply with some candy-cane pie in the sky Disney **** about "wanting to prove you're the best".

I'm sure he does want to prove he's the best but not by going against all logic and common sense.
