Maidana is strong, but he was busy and didn't let Floyd get comfortable until mid rounds. If Maidana is busier in the mid rounds and makes Floyd work that much more, it's going to be an interesting fight, but still see Floyd pulling away late with clean punching.
obviously strength wont help if all you're gonna do is sit back and not land punches

if canelo had even fought floyd like he fought lara, it would have been a much more interesting fight, but he wasn't even at that level of strength yet vs floyd, this new strength of his whether from a new training regimen or w/e else, only came about after the floyd fight, vs angulo

It had nothing to do with level of strength. He was quite strong against Floyd. But Floyd backed him up a lot and also stood in front of him and gave hima ngles. Lara did neither.

floyd stood infront of him because canelo was trying to box him and bait him

if you're not landing punches(whether on the guard) you're not using your strength and power

if your not pushing a guy around you're not using your strength and power

"To me cotto is undefeated cuz margarito cheated him and pacquiao made him fight at a catchweight. I'll never fight someone at catchweight and drain them. I want them to be at their best."-FMJ

Then procedes to fight canelo at a catchweight. So is canelo still undefeated?

canelo is pretty good, he was boxing on fairly even terms with floyd early(caught him with some good jabs, clever hooks, although nothing heavy), but what seperates these veterans from the young guns is their consistency, floyd kept his mind sharp, canelo mentally tired and floyd took over outboxing him

Canelo is the better fighter between him and Maidana. Saying that, Maidana style is tougher for Mayweather because he comes forward and doesn't stop punching.

Canelo's biggest mistake is that he though he could box with Mayweather.

Maidana countered Floyd's pull counter and he was visibly hurt.
                    No he wasn't.
