Angel said Danny was pissing blood for awhile after the fight which is why Danny went and fought who was supposed to be a soft touch after that fight (Mauricio). I'm pretty sure Danny doesn't wanna take that type of punishment again which is why he hasn't given Lucas the rematch or fought a hard hitting puncher in awhile.

Danny has to turn it down a little bit but Mattyhsse and his fans need to relax. All this scared and chicken talk is nonsense. He fought Lucas and beat him. Everybody brings up Herrera and Salka but forget about what happened last September.

garcia's fans arent the ones who would be in the ring, so why would anyone hope it never happens? you are taking this way to serious

Mayweather fought Maidana because he said it was what the fans wanted.

Well, Matthysse uses MX gloves, I suspect. Danny should emulate something with this respect.

                  Joking, of course.
Garcia surely is going places at 147... He will need to get some other "soft touches", just to get used to the new division... And afterwards who knows?

Power punch stats for Matthysse: 153/346.

153 power punches, none hurt Garcia.

Dude landed over 150 power punches, and not one of them ever made Garcia flinch. Let that sink in.

If anything the rematch would be later down the line and at 147. I doubt Garcia would risk his shot at Pacquiao or Floyd by rematching a dangerous fighter that is Matthysse. Matthy should fish for Broner, now that would be an all out, action packed clah. I favour Matthysse but regardless of whether I like Broner or not, he can seriously make fights competitive with his sheer strength and physicality.
