Matthysse was clearly winning that rd. It goes from 8-10 to 10-9/ Three pint swing. Matthysse wins.

i had garcia winning 8-4 maybe 7-5, plus a 4 point deduction for the kd's i dont see how mathysse would have won that fight at all... didnt danny get a point deduction too?

well after 6 most people had it 3-3 as did I. 7,8,9, were clearly garcias, 10 was clearly matthysse, 12 was somewhat close but matthsse won it for me, and 11 was matthysse's best round but he got rabbit punched into the ropes and garcia was allowed to punch him when he was defenseless so he scored a knockdown. it would have been 6-6 on my card if weeks was a competent ref and with the point deduction which should have been came much earlier matthyse wins. so it swung from 114-113 matthysse to 114-112 garcia.

If Matthysse wins the KD round, the 3 point swing gives him the win on 2 of the cards. Moot point obviously, he did go down.

Though it drives me crazy that people pretend Garcia dominated. It was a close, good fight.

Even for the first 6 rounds, Matthysse didn't "dominate" like you make it out to be. Some were swing rounds which could've gone to whoever. Garcia dictated the pace of the entire fight. Matthy never really had his way.

Thing is, Matthysse can't box, period. Danny set the pace of the fight, and at the end of the day, Lucas couldn't compete, period.

Guys discredit Danny and says that he's mediocre and so on, but this is the same guy who outboxed Lucas, so what does that say about him (Lucas)?

Lucas only looks good against guys that he can pummel, and the second that he can't obliterate a fighter, his silly fans make up a million reasons why the guy that beat him, should give him a rematch.

Remember, this is the same guy (Lucas), who skipped the press tour, to "focus on training", but came into the fight, and performed poorly.

If you're a real Matthysse fan, then protest for him to fight a beatable guy, not a guy who clearly outboxed him already.

so you are just against rematches, and especially if the first fight was competitive and controversial? you would rather garcia take on the salka's of boxing?
