Algieri's wins over Taylor and Provodnikov are better than anything Broner's done above 135. Triangle theories don't have to come into this at all. Algieri's performances suggest he's better.

This isn't even a question of "styles make fights" - Algieri is simply a far better boxer, period. Broner also gets beaten horrifically against Provodnikov.

Algieri beat Taylor much more convincingly, Broners inability to move would get him hurt by Ruslan and I'd pick Algieri to handle Broner easily.

Thats exactly what the triangle theory is, it *suggests* that one is better than the other based on an outside factor without actually having to prove it by fighting each other.

So it is speculation based on a shared opponent = Triangle Theory

Algieri is better in any theory you could fathom.

I'm not speculating on a shared opponent. I'm saying that Algieri has fought better against better opponents. You don't have to base your opinion on Taylor only to think Algieri is the better fighter.

Ok fair enough, but the TS asked a question that was based on the Triangle Theory

Betting odds do the same thing, very few people regard them as worthless.

Actually no they don't base odds on the Triangle theory, odds makers are a little more savvy than that.

The odds depend on many factors specif the the individual fight, for example if Pac and JMM fought for the 5th time would JMM be favored because he knocked out Pac in the last fight?

Of course not, Pac would be the favored

                      ^^ this..

styles make fights, not to mention the fact that fighters perform differently on a nightly basis.

im not saying broner is better than algieri or would beat him. but someone who considers himself a true boxing fan like OP should know better than to make a triangle theory.

whatever fits the agenda i guess..
