Froch's drawing power is Massively overrated.

His fight against Groves sell out 80,000 mainly cause of Groves, whether you like it or not, he was the one who did majority of the trash talks and brought the interest element to that fight, add up to that all the first fight controversy.

He's no David Haye that can sell 50,000 Stadium fighting some bum.

I doubt Froch can sell a big stadium outside of Nottingham .

We must not forget that Froch was massively hated in the Uk pre George Groves fights and wasn't a big name at all in the Uk.

Froch is sounding like George Groves had no role in selling the tickets and filling up seats, when majority of public wanted Groves to win and the fight took place in Grove's hometown.
    Hahaha you numbnut!

      Groves was WBA mando.

      DeGale is IBF mando.

One of the problems with being a unified titlist. Half your fights end up being mandos, this is of one the reasons they have Super / Diamond or whatever titles.

You always get your money's worth when you watch a froch fight. He is without a doubt one of the sports top elite.

I strongly believe that groves will someday make the top ten p4p list and become a superstar. He has a lot of potential still.

Groves was Ibf mandatory mate, and they make you fight a mandatory every 9 months, so Froch will be due in February.

David Haye cancelled the Manuel Charr fight because it was absolutely tanking at the box office.

And that was at the M.E.N which barely holds 20,000

I wouldn't actually mind seeing a third fight but Froch vs. Degale first. If Groves can get a big name win in the meantime why not

People are getting wrongly caught up with the amount of tickets sold.

It's easy to sell 80,000 tickets when selling them for peanuts. Much harder to sell 20,000 tickets with 3,000 of them costing £2,000. That's why the Gate receipt total is far more important. Selling £15m from 20,000 tickets is far more impressive then selling £15m from 80,000 tickets..

Groves will do fine. 10k+ are going to watch him in a European title fight against unknown opp after he's just been ko'd. If he wins a world title and racks up some wins, he can do 20k and more against guys like DeGale and Smith.
